McDavid
Draisaitl
Nugent-Hopkins
___?___ Khaira, Strome, Cammy (we traded our regular 4Cs)

Our issue this season is that center depth was the only thing we could count on. Wingers, D and even goaltending basically let the team down.

Bergeron
Krejci
Backes
Nash
Kuraly...........................................Deepest/best in the league.

Bergeron
Krejci
Nash
Kuraly

Those are their 4 centers this year. Backes, Schaller, Acciari and Wingels can all play center if need be. Maybe Donato, although who knows if he can at the NHL level.

Yah. Never really thought he looked well there. Too soft...floater. If the Isles could upgrade on him, they'll be up there.

I think the plan is to move him in the off-season. Beauvillier can play up and down the line up and hopefully he can take hold of the 3C spot.

Cizikas could theoretically play 3C if the isles find legit 4th Line Center.

Leafs centers are better at faceoffs, but Pens centers are better at hockey overall imo. Leafs might be 2nd in the league if Nylander sticks there

Sheifele > Matthews
Stastny > Kadri
Little > Bozak
Lowry > Plek

No... Leafs aren't top 3.. Pitts, Edmonton forsure, Winnipeg, Nashville ahead as well

The Rangers don't have great NHL center depth yet, but our NHL depth and prospects put together is up there.

Pens Centres 1-4 are better than every Leafs one head to head.

Also kinda disingenuous to list Brassard at 5 points...

First thing I noticed. Why the heck would you list only 5 points? Is the OP not aware that Brassard actually played more than the 10 or so games he's been a Penguin?

The only team that matches the Oilers is Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately we also have the worst collection of wingers ever assembled in the NHL.

What I'm getting from this thread is that a surprising amount of teams have great centre depth
