Speculation: Teams who beat the Jets go on losing streaks

Interesting little fact ... the Jets lost 4 games this month.
All those 4 teams went on losing streaks.
The Rangers have lost 6 straight games and counting after beating the Jets.
St. Louis have lost 5 straight games and counting.
The Kings lost their next game so that streak is still alive.
Even the VGK lost 2 of 3 games after beating the Jets and the game that Vegas won was in OT.

So it looks like the Jets are doing the teams a favor by beating them.

It might be a classic example of a letdown for those teams. Jets are highly touted now. Teams might think too much of themselves after winning and get lazy.

Jets are 7-0 playing the second game against the same team in a week ... so game 2 is a guaranteed win in the playoffs.
