Team needs scoring and it be nice from that center spot

Yes, high end forward skill. Pastujov, Othmann or Pinelli all fit the bill.

I'm actually intruiged by Svechkov too. Sort of has a Bergeron profile. Outstanding stick, and showed the offense this year in difficult leagues. Minus Russian factor, he is likely BPA.

Some center from the AJHL projected as a 5th rounder who's 6'3" and projects as a hard nosed fourth line center.

If they take a forward, all I can ask for is for them to just take a freaking guy that is widely expected to go in the 2-3 picks before or after their pick.

For the sanity of everyone here, just BPA, no more going off the board with project players. It hasn't worked. And they have no history of making it work (specifically first rounders)

Ideally the BPA is a center. We desperately need that.

Like Boucher a lot. I expect some college kid in tier 2 who is 6 years away from making the fourth line.
Last two years took USA kids

20 Mason Lohrei 6’4” USA
19 Johnny Beecher 6’3” USA
18 Axel Anderson 6’0” D Sweden
18 Jacob Lauko 6’0”W Czech
18 Curtis Hall 6’3 C USA
17 Vaakanainen D Finland 6’1
17 Jack Studnicka C 6’1” Canada
17 Jeremy Swayman G 6’2”USA
16 Charlie McAvoy 6’0” USA
16 Trent Frederic 6’2” USA
16 Ryan Lindgren 6’0” USA

top two picks/notables since 2016

size & USA based change in philosophy once Gretzky gone and US NDTP scouts hired and Bradley/Langenbrunner hired/ took over

the two guys they are believing to showing interest in is USA NTDP C Sasha Pastujov (a Pasta & a Pastu) and Oskar Oluasson a big Swedish LW with wheels and touch ~ makes sense with Marchand & Hall age

since 2016 size & USA/European based

I apologize if I offended anyone for not blaming the 2015 draft and wanting Sweeney hung from a pole like Benito Mussolini

there are 15 other threads going for that

I didn’t vote because if the guy I selected sucks, Pulitzer Prize winner investigator @BrainOfJ will throw it in my face in 5 years and I will be humiliated

I’m a step ahead of Brad. I’m deleting 50,000 posts to leave no trail I don’t know what I’m talking about

Nah, that's too much work. Just update your signature to say "Don't trust anything I say about the draft". Problem solved.

Very biased but I think Räty could be the pick here. He's free falling in draft, had a bad season aswell. Still has a lot of potential though.

I'm fine with anything though, just dont get a projected 250 pick as pick 21.
