I think of the two, Perrault would be much more likely to be taken by Calgary at 19. So why not pick him first and then Lappiere at 20

I'd trade down a few spots here.

But if not, I havent seen anything of Holloway to form an opinion of him, but his stats aren't overly impressive to me.

I like Reichel or Zary here tbh

With Holloway it seems like he has good upside as a scoring power forward, and scouts are not too concerned about his lack of production in his Freshman year. I'm between Gunler and Holloway, I'd be fine with either.

I will not repeat myself and will choose the player with high risk and the highest possible potential from the list. Marat. (Reichel is my #18)

This top 17 is so realistic as hell. I'm not talking about specific selections of specific teams, I'm talking about the list of people in general who were selected in the top 17. It will be sad if Jarvis, Mercer, Amirov leave before we choose.

I would also trade down if given the option.

That being said, regarding Holloway's stats...can't really judge him by that. Its a fairly rare occurrence for players to be in college in their draft year. I think there are only a few of them this year, as there are every year. He also played on what was supposed to be a good Wisconsin team, though I believe that they underwhelmed. He's a good partner for Jack in my opinion, but I worry a little bit about the hockey sense.

I'm having a really tough time with this one. Holloway, Reichel seem like good 3rd guys on a line with Jack...but I question the former's hockey sense and I question the overall upside of the latter.

I'm fairly cold on a number of these guys, like Zary. Bourque may be a little too hit and miss at this juncture after landing Perreault, but I think it's a mistake to simply discount him at this spot. He's easily worth the selection.

I'm not going to lie...I'm kind of leaning Foerster...not sure why. It's a little early, and one of the reasons I would love to trade down.

Have to give it some thought and come back lol

Our friend over on FF loves Reichel. Could be someone to ask about his upside. I chose Reichel just because I have my concerns about Holloway's true upside after watching the Badgers a lot this year. He just didn't stick out to me. But, as I've said, maybe that was Granato's fault because that entire team was crap. People have also soured a little bit on Alex Turcotte so maybe it's more Granato/Wisconsin than the individual talents.

Yeah, I mentioned that before and he got on me about Reichel a little bit LOL. I think that will probably be my vote, but I really don't hate Foerster here.

I think he sold me on Reichel tbh. But, and this is a HUGE but, the only reason he was my choice is because Greig isn't listed for some absurd reason. At this point, though, I think everyone knows where I stand lol.

NJ drafting speed. Drysdale, Perreault, and Holloway can all skate.

I know how to skate, can they draft me too? :sarcasm:

I like Reichel, Zary, Gunler, or Holloway here now that I've seen more of him. I'm honestly not leaning in favor of any of them. I'd trade down a few spots and pick up an extra pick.
