Yes, that is the plan. And there's really no way around it since it takes time for members to vote.

Went with Drew Doughty, he always pretty good but he's even better in the playoffs. Has gotten 50 points in 76 games, is great rushing the puck and is just an elite well rounded player who you can play in any situation.

People are really going to have to suppress their natural HF inclinations here it's a build the best possible team for a one-off playoffs, not a fantasy team or a EA GM dynasty mode scenario.

I read the title and thought this was a draft to spread the HFOil members to other HF NHL team boards. Thought maybe the inevitable finally happened and Oilers were relegated to the AHL.

Doughty IMO is the best defenceman in the world. He has my vote even though I really wanted to go with Toews.

Voted Doughty. Toews was very tempting, as was Geno. I just feel a Dman can affect the game more, and this is playoff Doughty thats why Weber doesn't get my vote.

Choose towes best overall player in the game I think leadership is there is a proven winner and can shut down the other teams best and then score on them. If not him maybe doughty, weber or malkin.

Doughty for me. I know it's tough to win without a 1C, but I can't pass him up. That guy is simply incredible.
