Sucks the injury happened right when Paquette was taking a step forward.

Happy to see Vladdy get a shot. I hope it's short term though because I think he's invaluable to Syracuse right now.

Imagine if Vladdy takes off here on the third line with wingers like Drouin, Killorn, Connolly, etc.

Imagine if Vladdy takes off here on the third line with wingers like Drouin, Killorn, Connolly, etc.

He and Drouin looked like oil and water early in the year. Drouin needs the puck on his stick, Namestnikov doesn't really look to pass until he's deep in the zone. Maybe that'll change now that Drouin has evolved a bit. I can see Vladdy and Connolly working out quite well though, if we don't go with 11-51-14 in the immediate future. They scored a decent goal last game, and Coop tends to go back to combos that have success.
