Toronto scores like it is the mid 80s
*** IMPORTANT *** -> Many of these dumb threads aren't started by Leaf fans ***
Here we go again
They also allow a lot of goals.
Let's state for the record this isn't a Leafs fan so the Leafs fanbase doesn't get attacked for this thread...
But it'll probably happen anyway.
That ain't a SC winning team IMO. They'll romp the season and come a cropper in the playoffs
Its as fair as Crosby Malkin and Kessel on 1 team
Let the mods sleep
Ovechkin, Kuznetsov and Backstrom say hello.
It’s October ghosts for Andersen where he needs Basketball or gym ball to stop giving up 4-5 goals every game. It’s nothing new, we are used to this Andersen and when October is gone we will see a lot less GAA than through this month.
No it's not.
The drafted them (Matthews, Marner) and signed them (Tavares) fair and square.
It's not unfair in the slightest.
It's not a literal meaning. It just means they are "sick" or insane or really fking good.
A really strong start. Will be interesting to see if they can keep up dominating when the scoring goes down after the first couple of weeks. Of course they wont keep ut their Point per game pace, but with this start they have a good start to go 90+ points.
So far they remind me of the old Capitals with Ovechkin, Semin, Green and Backström that just rolled over the league with massive amounts of goals, but didnt have the defence for the playoffs when the game got tighter and harder. Leafs defence is the weak point, but its not nearly as bad as some of those Capitals teams.
Thanks for explaining this
Their goal differential is +3 after 4 games.
They score goals like it's 80s and also allow goals like it's 80s.
Against teams that sucked last year.
If you think that's unfair, imagine a team with Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Taylor Hall on it.
They’re sick? I can’t wait to watch them play when they’re healthy.
Lmao you can’t be serious ? You don’t know what he meant by saying sick ?
And every year in beginning lots of teams and players score lot and get off to a hot start while teams adjust and scoring goes down. There are plenty of teams with few elite talents . They’re good but it’s not unfair . Let’s see what they accomplish
Let's be reality, the NHL would be way better if NHL scoring went back to 80s level of scoring
That's an unfair comparison for the Leafs.
See you Saturday leafs...
The whole team got the flu. They barely managed to get out of bed for gameday.
