Taping over the toe?

Does anyone have a video link or instructions on how to do this without using scissors, or without making it look bad? I did it for the first time and I like the feel, but the tape came off the end pretty easily, and I had to use scissors.

I just tape over the toe, one additional row, so that 'back and front tape' overlap and stick together...then cut it with scissors.

This looks pretty good. There's a surprisingly large number of idiots on YouTube who can't tape over the toe of their stick properly.

The ovi curve is a bit tricky to do over the toe.

Why do you not want to use scissors? People give you crap for it in the locker room? Just use scissors, don't worry I dont think anyone seriously will think that much less of you.

Scissors is the **** ! With some blades you cant do it good without the scissors.

I dont see how you could tape over the the toe without using scissiors.

It's round.

You have to use scissors then. Only square-toed blades can be done properly without some trimming.
