Great. Thanks for the read--I like the top 10, but I don't know if Beaulieu will go that high (he probably will if Murphy's gone). Just a small change--Armia's a F not a D, but I like it a lot as an Av. I think Armia gets a little forgotten since his Swedish counterpart (Zib) is charging up the boards.

Great job, thats a tremendous effort to do a 7 round mock. As a Bruins fan I love the 2nd and 3rd round picks. I am almost positive they will not pass on Zibanejad for Beaulieu, I know they really like Zbad and if hes there they will take him, so for me thats my only problem with it.. otherwise pretty good job.

Thanks for noticing, at one point I moved a few guys around I must have forgot to switch the aves pick to a forward:)

Looks like a good draft. My only comment is that the Islanders will no pick a goaltender in the second round. Maybe later in the draft but not before the 3rd round.

Landeskog, Mayfield and another big d-man would be an amazing 2 rounds.

Well done. I just posted my 7 round mock also. It is a lot of work. A lot of internal debate over each pick. The problem I have is always looking at the needs of the team and drafting that way. Should go BPA all day because in the end most of these guys are 3-5 years away. Your needs will change by then.

I hope that the Sharks take Adam Lowry with their 3rd, and I also think that someone will take a chance on Kessy before the 5th.

Thanks for your time, though :)

I think the isles pick couturier over landeskog also think their 3rd round pick belongs to anaheim via the wisniewski trade

How did NYR get pick 46 from STL?

The 46th pick is originally Buffalo's, and was aquired in the Brad Boyes trade.
New Yorks pick which is 45 went to Calgary as part of the package for Tim Erixon.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to read through this:nod:

And Pooleboy, yea I agree if the Leafs could do something like that with the first 3 picks I would be thrilled. Can't wait for the real thing on Friday. I plan on having my own draft party with a buddy of mine who is a florida fan he's going bonkers since they have the 3rd overall.

Gonna drink alot of beer Friday night mmm Tankhouse Ale :D

New York NEVER had the 46th They had the 45th and lost it in the Tim Erixon deal

The 46th overall pick is Originally Buffalo's and was Dealt to STL in the Brad Boyes Trade

I really don't think I can be more clear than that

Then why did you list the Rangers as drafting Nieto at 46th overall?

I'm OK with Nieto coming to the Blues in that slot...

Tankhouse's 7 Round Mock draft.

Round 2
32-STL: Vladislav Namestnikov-F-OHL
41-STL: Dimitri Jaskin-F-CZE
46-NYR: Matthew Nieto-F-NCAA
48-OTT: Max Friberg-F-SWE
50-NYI: John Gibson-G-USHL
55-DET: Mario Lucia-F-High-MN

If I'm drafting for the Blues at 46th, I might take one of Friberg, Gibson or Lucia ahead of Nieto... but Nieto is OK in that position as well...
