I'm hoping Arizona at least plays to OT. Also hoping the isles fall flat against minny as well.

Current magic number:

Edmonton:
Points: 12
Row magic number: 6
Edmonton owns the head to head. So if they tie at row, Edmonton finishes 29.

Arizona:
Points: 15
Row magic number: 5
Head to head magic number: 3 points
Goal differential: currently Arionza is 14 up

So I'm assuming the real magic number is 16.

Let's change our approach, and hope for an Arizona loss so Detroit can close the gap on the Islanders. It may work.

We tend to play hard against detroit for whatever reason, and iirc smitty brings his A game against them too. This could prove disastrous for us.

You need to look up the definition of trolling. :biglaugh:

He's using a definition of magic number that not one single other poster agrees with, and he's continuing to post his false number as a fact despite knowing that it's not accepted as such by anyone.

The only possible reason he could be persisting in doing so over and over is to provoke a reaction or an argument. That's the textbook definition of trolling.

definition of trolling 10 years ago -posting inflammatory comments, intentionally trying to invoke negative feelings in a poster

Trolling now - disagreeing with someone

Disagreeing with someone isn't trolling.

Disagreeing with EVERYONE, pointedly and repeatedly, when you know that no one is going to agree with you ... that's a different story.

It was a joke...I disagree with you.

disagreeing with everyone repeatedly means evryone else is disagreeing with you repeatedly too, that just makes you stubborn or pig headed.

If I insist that the sky is green, and everyone else says it's blue.

And we have an epic argument about it and I don't persuade anyone.

And yet I pop into every thread to repeat my claim that the sky is green.

That's not "stating a disagreement". That's trolling to provoke an argument.
