Not bad choices.

After 2012, everybody wanted to return to Tampa. St. Paul is a natural choice. St. Louis worked last time (even if the bad guys won), and Vegas, well, that might be the first one I attend as a neutral. Even if my alma mater doesn't make it, I can always go for a trip out there.

St. Louis finally getting the hockey respect WE deserve. :hit:

And stick taps to the Women's Frozen Four sites as well: Amsoil Arena in Duluth, Minn., in 2023; Whittemore Center Arena in Durham, N.H., in 2024; Ridder Arena in Minneapolis in 2025; and Pegula Ice Arena in State College, Pa. (AGAIN), in 2026.

Lindenwood is hosting a 2024 regional at the Centene Community Ice Center. Which definitely raises some eyebrows.

While I am not opposed to seeing more NCAA hockey programs, we saw this before with an ACHA school hosting the Frozen Four.

Lindenwood would make a helluva lot of sense to jump up to varsity in men's hockey. And I say that as an Illini fan. If an announcement about that could be coupled with the St. Louis Frozen Four, that'd be ideal.

Then again, I was half expecting Illinois to finally announce a move to varsity hockey when Chicago hosted a few years back as well, and since then we've only had rumor of an impending announcement after another, so what do I know?

What other ACHA host has there been?

Navy hosted the 2009 Frozen Four in DC. My timeline is a little off, so I don't remember when the "Navy to NCAA" rumors were floating around, but ultimately, nothing came to fruition.
