Looking at that top10 is just amazing. Seeing that Masin a 18 year old high 2nd rounder has trouble making our top10 is crazy. Especially after all those graduations and while having such a promising roster :)

That said my pick here is Masin, but it was close with Gudlevskis. I just think Masin is a little better prospect.

I'm the only one thinking Paquette? Think he could be a good 3rd liner if he improves his skating with 20-20 ability. If not he could been an elite 4th liner. I like Masin but Paquette is the more sure thing, Masin could become a good middle pair but is a few years out.

I like Paquette a lot. I agree that he's pretty much a sure-thing, which I think makes up for scoring potential, which is never quite sure. That said, I went with Gudlevskis. I thought he was outstanding in his NHL appearances and his AHL numbers were dragged down a bit by a weak defense. He looks like a sure NHLer too, to me, the only question is whether or not he can be a starter, and he might be.

Gudlevskis is too inconsistent for me, don't think he'll ever become a 1a but can be a 1b. Paquette seems like a player who'll be in the league awhile as a solid bottom 6er. Gudlevskis might become more consistent and become a starter but right now I'd prefer the guy who'll play every game then a backup goalie.
