Quesnel, B.C.
As elimination Games continue today we have another mismatch (as is the popular opinion)

Can the Swiss push back the talented Home squad?

I know the Swiss Team always plays a sneaky good style

I look forward to seeing who can make the best of their opportunities

Edit:
I waited as long as I could to give others a chance to do the GDT but you’re going to have to put up with my horseassery once again, HF.

Graf scratched. I mean he did play a poor tournament. Still curious. Also got benched in a game, against the US I think it was but then got regular minutes the next game. May not be 100%. Same goes for Delémont unfortunately who would be required to step up with Meier and Bichsel not with the team.

I still would have preferred to avoid Canada by playing Patenaude vs Germany which most likely would have guaranteed the win. On the plus side, at least our nr.1 goalie started just 2 games, played just 7 periods of hockey in this tournament. He should be sharp. Has been solid in his two starts. Not so much when he came in cold vs the US but I'm not worried about Patenaude. It will be on the rest of the team to finally play up to potential. Can they do it with poor coaching though? I'm sceptical. Against the Canadians are playing Cuylle over Othmann on the topline so that's not very smart coaching either:nod::nod::nod:

If Knak can finally play the way he played in previous international tournaments and if Fahrni can finally play the way he does at club level, if Delémont is back to 100% and if nobody produces any lazy ass penalties or turnovers then maybe this is closer than many think. To win we probably would need Cossa coming in cold:laugh:
Garand is unlikely to give away much.

If Canada and USA win it's Canada vs Finland again. Is there anything the people running this tournament aren't screwing up.
