Switzerland: Swiss Div2

Hey all, what's a north American comparable for talent in the Swiss Div2? I see it's 4th league but I have no understanding of Swiss pro hockey

Oh this is gonna be hard. I can't give you a comparison to NA.
Div2 is amateur and actually on the 5th tier. NLA > NLB > MSL > Div1 >Div2 and so on.
My brother played Div2 for a while and it's nowhere near professional. It's split up into 6 regional leagues so you only play local teams.

They probably get paid a bit, but more as a compensation and nowhere near enough to make a living. Especially in Switzerland.
