Next tournament is Channel One Cup, a month away from now.

If i where Grönborg i would send this team:

R.Nilsson - Lander - A.Petersson
Klasen - Engqvist - F.Pettersson
Stålberg - Zackrisson - Axelsson
Klingberg - Lundqvist - Sörensen

Rundblad - Rahimi
Junland - Wikstrand
Martinsson - Tömmernäs

Lasse Johansson
Henrik Karlsson

Everberg, Omark, Möller, Lindström and Lindholm are locks for OG, no need for them to play this tournament.

I really hope Nick Sörensen gets a try, he is a very intresting player, he is a better version of Cehlin.

The Ds have to play really good....Kronwall, Ahnelöv, Gustafsson, Hersley, Bertilsson basically already have a olympic-ticket.

Fasth and Enroth i think have OG-tickets already....we know what Hellberg got....time for Johansson and Karlsson to show some.

What a shame that Sweden doesn't have the NHLers! Your back 3 would be so sick: Karlsson (prime), Hedman (prime), Lundqvist (last chance at Olympics)

Would have been the last chance for Sedins too (could have made a great 3rd group). My sincerest condolences.

Gronborg is watching the WJCs specifically for Pettersson, Andersson, and Dahlin, IIRC.

Elias is SHLs top scorer, he ought to be in contention.
Like above poster said, the WJC confirms (if he dosnt completely picks up his game in the medal rounds) that Elias cant play under high pressure. Considering what the slovaks did to him yesterday, I have a feeling that the americans will eat him alive. Hoping Im wrong though.

So, Gronborg was there to look at Dahlin, Pettersson, and Andersson.

How do you think WJC changed his thoughts on these three?

Also, when is the roster announcement/deadline?

I think Dahlin and Andersson raised their stocks and Pettersson had his lowered a bit, but he played through a cold and I think a big part of why he didn't do all too well was because he's probably the one of the three who struggles most to adjust to the smaller ice surface. Pettersson has also had the most impressive SHL season so far, which makes me believe all three are still very much in the picture still.

Personally, I'd bring Dahlin.
