    Why?

He´s better than Nino Niederreiter last year as a rookie and Nino was drafted at #5.

I now see why you picked him 1st in JeffYear's mock draft.

    Lets Compare:

    Nino Niederreiter

    Career stats:
Season Team League GP G A Pts PIM
2006–07 HC Davos U18 Elite Novizen
2007–08 HC Davos U18 Elite Novizen
    2007–08 HC Davos U20 Elite Jr. A 5 5 1 6 4
    2008–09 HC Davos U18 Elite Novizen 6 6 6 12 6
    2008–09 HC Davos U20 Elite Jr. A 30 20 14 34 44
    2008–09 HC Davos NLA — — — — —
    2009–10 Portland Winterhawks WHL 65 36 24 60 68

36 goals, 60 pts with portland last year in 65 games, almost PPG player
He's 6'2", 205lbs so he's already big enough to compete in the NHL.

    Sven Bartschi

    Career Stats:
Season Team GP G A PTS +/- PIM
    2010-11 Regular Season Portland Winterhawks 36 21 26 47 9 34
(that's all I could find, says something...)

    He's 5'10", 185lbs, so he's not close to Nino's size.

He could go First round. Could. You can't call him 1st Overall because of goals and points. Jordan Weal had 102 pts last year in the dub, and he didn't go until the third round. Why? Because he's small.

I still can't believe you passed up Couturier and Nugent Hopkins.

not a chance he goes top 5.

You know that Pulkkinen was already drafted in the 4th round of the 2010 draft by Detroit? Also why is Ambroz so high up on your list?

Wouldn't say that, Thomas Hickey was projected mid-first downwards in 2007, and was drafted 4th overall. Not saying Baertschi is up to the caliber to the likes of RNH, Couturier and Larsson, but he has an opportunity to go anywhere he's needed. I'd say top-15 if he keeps his play up.
