It was a joke as every Kotkaniemi comparison starts with his age, even in a thread where he’s just 3 months older than the other player, his age is still brought up. Every year there’s players that make the NHL earlier and earlier with how the game is changing, and fans of these players make it seem like it’s a race to the NHL and whoever gets their first will be the better player. I’d be more impressed with Kotkaniemi putting up a huge offensive season overseas than scoring 40 points in the highest scoring NHL season in forever

I agree with your post until the end, do you know how many players do well overseas and then do nothing in the NHL? An 18 year old rookie scoring 40 points who is learning the game at the highest level is definetly more impressive to me

Also you seem to be obsessed with kotkaniemi. Your stance isn't unreasonable on this subject yet in every post you got to make the same point in the same whiny tone. We already know what you think, let us enjoy the young talent
