Superstore Appreciation Thread

1) No Name Brand anything tastes better and is better than any other generic brand from any other grocery store

2) Their cart corrals have garbage cans

3) What other grocery store offers no-fee chequing accounts and mortgages?

4) It’s not Wal-Mart

5) PC brand chips are better than any other chips, especially the blue cheese and sriracha ones

6) All tills are open between 2-6 on Saturday and Sunday – it’s a store policy

7) They sell Asian spices and stuff

8) Their gas is cheap

9) It’s easy to sneak stuff through their self-checkout

10) Their clothes are cheap

11) I get free shampoo or whatever if they forget to mention “the deal of the week”

12) They sell sushi

13) Their photo lab used to dangerously hang off the inside of the roof (until digital cameras became a thing)

14) Their peanut butter is GOAT

On the topic of chips, I would say No Name brand chips taste great and are generally 1/3 the price of name brand chips.

A much more minor deal, but the ideal fit for LA would be to get Dano. Could probably get him for nothing since the Jets have screwed with him so much, but man are his hands and hockey IQ just top notch. He doesn't look pretty but he does one thing very consistently...produces. Also gets results. He's not overly big but loves to get to dirty areas and always find the soft spots to sit in. His skating is choppy making him look awkward, but he's not slow. Him with Kopitar and Brown would be ideal fit.
