People forget how important the WHA signings were in the Cup run. Bam Bam was the enforcer on the defense and made Persson and Jonsson effective by making sure no one took liberties with them.

Big Langevin fan, and Flats really stuck it to Isles fans when he signed with the Rangers, but he was our captain and a highly under-rated player. Flatley it is.

Always felt it was more of a middle finger to our pathetic organization at the time than anything directed at the fans (though of course we took it that way b/c what else did we have except for the rivalry?). Who the heck knows though…
