Minimum acceptable SV% for an avg NHL starter?

A is an enigma to me.. Josh Harding's SV% was 0.911 this year but 9116 would round to 912 anyways...

annd apparently I was looking at playoffs, so... is B Daniel Taylor? He played 2 games and I have no idea who he is but his SV% was 0.912 so I guess I'll go with that

Can't be. Pav's career save % is around .907 and league average save % was at an all-time high of 0.913 two seasons ago. IIRC.

Over 80% of NHL goalies (back up or starters) pass that threshold prior to graduating....

Oh no, you're going to need to take an average of all-time great goalie's best season SV% to get anywhere near high enough for that.

I don't know if it's just because offseason but well done garret I'm having way too much fun with this

But ya the reason for this exercise (other than fun and time killing) is to point something out.

We always talk about whether or not Bogo, Kane and Burmi being rushed into the NHL, but we never have talked about Pavelec.
