What a great show it was. Years after it is gone it is still influential. Every television anthology in horror sci fi or fantasy knows what they have to live up to. Almost everyone has used the title as a descriptor of something along the way. The show is an icon of pop culture. Serling was a genius. Apparently he was the one who came up with the ending of the original Planet of the Apes. Just brilliant. The show had great guest writing talent and at least two appearances by the Lovejoy of acting in Bill Shatner.

i've actually never seen it. but like star wars (which i've also never seen) i've seen it referenced so often in pop culture i get the gist of it.

i wonder if it's on netflix, i bet i would enjoy it

I think Netflix has some of the seasons, its a must watch show.

It’s a bit quaint now since the effects were low end and some of the dialogue comes across as stilted given the passage of time and change in how tv is written but the best ones are still great and often very moving or thought provoking. I’m sure you can google an episode guide and pick out a few to try.

The episode where the woman has the dream about “room for one more honey”. I can make my wife scared just by saying that. I’ve only done it a few times in our many years together and I would never do it where I know she’d freak out completely. It was that powerful a show.

I feel like putting in Blackwood today is a bit of a bad move and more than likely something we’re forcing because of the pathetic excuse for goaltending the last two games he was out.

I don’t trust the team to not play him, after he played with a concussion last year.
