Another thread lists players who have been disappointing, but who are the players you have liked so far?

I have seen two games from the team Finland and the best players have been Kakko and Talvitie. The first one is really strong and creative with the puck and the latter one is just a strong all-around player.

Last night I watched that Canada-Russia game and I really liked Dobson-Smith pairing. Denisenko was also quite sneaky in the offensive zone.

I'm a Devils fan so I might be a little bit biased with my evaluations.

From the Habs point of view, I'm obviously thrilled with the way Poehling (leading scorer in tournament) and Romanov (leading scorer for defensemen and just dominant) have played. I have also been impressed (in no particular order) by:

Kurashev
Robertson
Alexeyev
Brannstrom
Kravtsov
Bemstrom
Glass

and the three Swedish defensemen

Boqvist
Brannstrom
Sandin

My round robin all star team would be:
Kurashev-Poehling-Robertson
Romanov-Brannstrom
DiPietro

Your NJ prospect, Talvitie, is forming a good pair with our habs prospect #27 Ylonen. I thought they were the best forwards for the Finns. Kakko was decent.

Kravtsov has been the best of the three Ranger prospects.

I'd say Romanov, but he's been playing as expected so far. I'd say all KHLers are doing good/great at the tournament: Romanov, Kravtsov, Orekhov, Liska... The only one I don't love is Morozov (defenseman). His -4 game vs Swiss was a big let-down. But he looked ok in other games.
