I guess their is a good chance Marner will splits the forward vote and Hanifin wins this but I highly doubt Marner beats the other two.

I fear this poll will wrongly present Hanifin as our first choice .

Still really undecided. I've only seen Hanifin play at the WJC's but I was amazed. His skating is unreal, and looks to be a future #1 dman.

Marner and Strome are both so intriguing, I'm really torn. With London set to play Erie, that should allow for a good look at both.

Marner is just piling on the points like a machine in the playoffs. What if he pans out like a Paul Kariya? Do you take that or the potential franchise center or franchise defenseman?

Strome is 3 for me (sorry size people)

Really hard to decide between Marner and Hanifin

I'd vote for all three if I could, I would be happy with any, though draft day, may be glum with hanifin pick day of draft, but would soon there after be happy with what our defense would look like.

Hanifin - rielly
Gardiner - Percy
loov - polak
Macwilliams

Fire it up next year !

Things will get interesting if Hanifin gets passed at the #3 PICK.

The way I see it
Its likely Marner or Hanifin goes 3rd overall
And we have a choice between either Strome or Marner/Hanifin

However if Strome goes 3rd, than we get a tough choice to choose between Marner or Hanifin.
I am so glad I dont have to make these decisions

I'm okay with any of them.

I like Strome for his size down the middle, and Hanifin because he's a beast.

I'd probably go

1. Hanifin/Strome
2. Marner

But it's close.

I voted Strome in the last one, so I'll vote Hanifin in this one.

Voted Marner, love his skill set and attitude.

I will admit I don't know much about Hanifin however.

Not sure how Hanifin can get past Edmonton unless they win the lottery. They'd have to be insane to add Strome/Marner with the cast they have already assembled when a 1D is on the board.

we need a #1 C, but, you take the BPA when he is clearly a tier higher than the 2 forwards.

voted Hanifin

Hanifin is perhaps closer to Eichel than Marner/Strome are to Hanifin
Hanifin ranks ahead of Jones, Ekblad, and is likely the best d-man (going into the draft) since Doughty.

A player better than Kane? Can you go wrong with that?

I honestly think the biggest question of the whole draft will be if Edmonton takes Hanifin at 3. All logic SCREAMS that is what they should be doing. But....Edmonton.

I'd be very happy with any of them though.

too close to call with these three.

With leafs likely having a choice between two of these guys, i think they lean towards whomever they feel has more 'intangibles' (i.e. leadership, personality, work ethic).

I got no clue about those attributes of these kids and unless someone on here is family or very close friends with them we are kind of flying blind here. I trust that management is able to zero in on the right choice! :yo:

I've always had the feeling Strome at #3 for the Oil.

i have it as Hanifin, Marner and Storme. I hope the Leafs have it in that order.

But im hoping to stay in the top 5 because the Leafs will be very lucky to have either of them.
