All right, kiddos. Place your trade blocks here, and use this, private messages, or chatzy as the jumping off point for trade discussions.

Since the offseason technically already happened, we will be in-season right now. Try to limit your deals to two or three right now, as we will be picking up the dealings at the deadline, once people have a feel for their teams and their place in the league.

There are some limits to the number of trades, but its subjective- if you make a couple of minor moves, and need to add or subtract a piece during the season, that's fine. also, if there are injury concerns, etc, then that's a different story as well.

The "limits" on the number of trades that teams can make are more of a guideline to keep people from trading away their entire team, so as long as things are reasonable, you are free to play as you wish.

Looking for a top 2 LHD; only players unavailable are Petro, Backes, Halak, and Shatty.

Aside from that, Colaiacovo is on the block. Willing to listen to offers for Elliott.

Paul Martin on the block...85 lhd. would do him and a 2nd for oshie

Martin wouldn't be my first choice, but I will surely consider it. Especially so if most of the people I PM'd aren't willing to move their dmen. I would probably need to have a defenseman going back the other way, as I have backload of depth dmen. Maybe add carlo in exchange for a forward (Kennedy?) from you. Or, in the alternative, just tack on someone like Woywitka/Huskins.

Need a #1 center, and top 6 wingers.

Colorado Avalanche trading block:

Paul Stastny
Jan Hejda
Greg Zanon
David Jones

We are only interested in top 6 young talent. Especially for Stastny, if a young top 6 winger is not coming back our way then a deal will not be made.

Couturier-Talbot-Read
Pandolfo-Fedotenko-Rinaldo

Pronger-Coburn
Meszaros-Timonen
Grossmann-Schenn

Nabokov

Trading Block:
- Briere (84 OV)
- Grossmann (80 OV)

Needs:
- A young, RH, top-4 defenseman with upside
- (possibly) another top-6 winger.

No one but Giroux is truly untouchable, but a few general guidelines:
- Couturier won't come cheap. He's available in a package for a superstar.
- B. Schenn isn't available unless the deal is big enough to include L. Schenn too. (One of my little rules to keep things "realistic")
- Not interested in picks and prospects; no interested in depth for stars.

Paul Stastny is continuously being shopped.. We're are looking for Top 6 Wingers and Top 4 Defensemen. A couple decent offers have been made already.

Also, with how low the Avalanche are in Salary we have no problem holding onto Stastny. He is a tremendous 2-way player and his $6.6 mil salary helps us stay above the Cap floor.
