Jets are looking at moving Ehlers to get cap space for Laine and Connor. Bringing in Stastny and his 6.5M would be counter productive.

I would jump on Patches at 7 millions per for four years waaaaaay before any of those June 2019 deals (Hayes 7x7, Karlsson 11,5 x 8, Duchesne probably around 9,5 x 7). Those terms are so bad.

Knew that trading for Pacioretty wasn't the best idea, but he had to go somewhere. But I think it should've been Florida.

Apparently teams lined up to give Jeff Skinner 9 for 7-8 years. Evander Kane got 7 for 7 years.

I realize Skinner last season was better than Pacioretty but there would be teams who would be eager to take a proven goal scorer and point producer at 7 for 4 years.

Not saying it will but there would be teams who would want him, regardless if fanbases would not.
