Count me in the peak Vinny crew, but hear me out here:

Stamkos-Lecavalier-St. Louis

Now THAT is a sick line.

They used to run that all the time in the final 5-3mins.

Also worked great on the PP with dueling one-timers from Vinny and Stammer (hope we see Mk. II of that this season with Stamkos and Kucherov).

In theory it seems like it would work, but when you think of the set up from when Stamkos scored all those one-timers in 2010 and Kucherov this year, they had a common denominator; and that was an elite puck controller playing the opposite boards. It takes a unique skill to be able to draw pkers to you the way those guys do, not nearly as easy as it looks. Of course, Kucherov could be that guy, and I'd have a feeling he'd defer much more then he has this year if Stamkos was out there with him.

Drouin will be missed on that PP though. Drouin-Hedman-Kucherov was a pretty decent set up. Hopefully Sergachev could have that kind of PP savvy one day.
