Just wanted to come back to the small discussion that went on before the season started. About teams maybe giving more or maybe less starts to their backup goalies than in a regular regular season.
The results are in:
Top 30 goalies with most starts started on avg
69,31% of their team's games in 2010 -2011
69,55% of their team's games in 2011 -2012
69,65% of their team's games in 2012 -2013
Top 10 goalies with most starts started on avg
81,83% of their team's games in 2010 -2011
83,05% of their team's games in 2011 -2012
85,83% of their team's games in 2012 -2013
For top 30 the numbers are amazingly equal and I wouldn't call them significantly different when it comes to top10 either.
