So depending on how our game tonight goes, there might be three games tomorrow going on at the same time that all have a potential effect on who our first round opponent is. Keep things interesting until the playoffs start.

Travel relative to other teams. We could play LV/LA, WPG, and VAN to get to the finals, and then that will probably by the NYR, so also no bargain. Bound to cost us a game at some point.

I vote yes, and would go one better by saying we should get new logos. The D star feels dated already.

I'd vote no. I don't like the idea of blending these two styles. I honestly think we should go back to the 1999 set with some tweaks. Give me the white with the black arm band and the green star. If you want to switch gold to silver, that might work but meh. You could also do home and away winter classics, with a black alternative?

I would say that IF we win the SC this year (25 years after our first) it would be logical to somehow combine the two themes into a new one. Other than that, I do like the thicker black collars.

Its disgusting how clean the bottom two look. Such a no brainer third that gives the organization a license to print money they have elected to pass on for… reasons.

With how well Otter finished the season his regular season stats went from really bad to just meh. .905 and 2.72 undersell how bad he was at times and also undersells how good he had to be in the finals weeks to still get to those numbers

To think that we would've won the Presidents' hadn't we dropped that Chicago game haha.

53 wins would've also tied for most in a season in Stars history. Then again that trophy seems to have some kind of curse around it so I'll take the second best record in the league.
The curse seems to be that you win the cup the following year of your presidents win

Considering our potential opponents both still have a game tonight i doubt it'll be Saturday. Kind of wierd that the East in general finished before most of the western teams.

I like that and the logo looks great on it.

The new logo is so much better. I liked the old color scheme at the time but like the new one now and don't want to change that. The ones from the previous page looked great. Also keep the blackout jerseys at least for a lot longer because they kick ass.

I think the winner of it wins the Cup over 20% of the time so that doesn't seem like a curse.

Been a while since the presidents trophy winner won the Cup . Last one was the 2012-13 Hawks during the lockout shortened season .

Before that it was pretty common though.

They line up pretty closely although of course point shares tries to take into account goaltenders and is cumulative rather than rate. Dellandrea somehow finishing below Pouliot and Petrovic I'm afraid deserves the skull emoji.

Hakanpaa dropping off as much as he did sure does speak to the idea him playing through an injury tanked his performance. I'd be curious to see a breakdown over the course of the season to see if it got worse and worse.
