These will change probably 5 times before the season starts, and another 10 times during the season.

All this shows is how Vegas respects teams. Top 1/3, only 5 teams with worse odds and tied with several others, including the Kings and Pens

Yeah, pretty pointless doing those when the offseason just began, every team will at least make some change to their roster.

Also LOL at the Rangers having 2nd best odds despite being right up against the cap and having to resign key players for next year.

Well Bergevin should be happy, our goal at the beginning of each season is to make the playoffs....:shakehead

We won't win if we still play the same crappy system next year.

Can't wait for the annual ''Habs won't make the playoff'' article to come out

Won't happen this year. There is only one team in the division that is any good besides Montreal, in Tampa. Buffalo and Toronto are going to be horrendous. Florida is alright, but they won't be pushing for the division by any stretch. Detroit I think will take a fall with a new coach and still a pretty average roster at best. Ottawa only made the playoffs by a fluke magical run, won't happen twice and Boston should be about the same or worse most likely.

So if 3 teams in the division make the playoffs, which of those teams have a legitimate shot at knocking off Montreal. Tampa, in a crazy injury filled world maybe Detroit or Boston. That's about it.

Since every teams you mention seem terribad, I would say Ottawa have still a pretty good chance to make the playoffs again, best of the worst. :)
