It's that time of year again
As is normal for every April 1 on HF, but especially in light of current global events and the potential for some unfortunate gag choices or reactions, the site administration and moderators (that's us!) would like to remind you of the following:
Please do not make April Fools joke posts.
You can post about April Fools jokes perpetrated elsewhere (other websites, social media, etc) as long as it is clearly labeled in your post that whatever you're linking to features a gag/joke/prank/whatever (especially if the link is the joke, like some sort of rickroll type setup or a redressed web page or social media account as the joke). April Fools joke links should go in the appropriate thread (Sharks news, Cuda News, OT thread if it's something outside the hockey realm, etc). If there's a lot of stuff or something particularly big from the Sharks, then it may warrant its own thread. In that case it's probably best to run it by us mods first and we'll let you know
As always, we apologize for the strictness of the rule, but it beats someone pulling a prank that backfires badly and upsets a lot of people. Especially with the potential for something relating to coronavirus panic this year.
