If you mean the french hockey fans, of course he is very famous

If you mean the french people, he is not famous at all
Even for the sports media
Football (or Soccer) still take too much place here but ice hockey community grows a bit year after year

No. He signed for 2 years with CSKA in June

I loved him in the IIHF Championship 2014. He is my favourite French player, I would love to see him NHL once more.
