I think McCabe has a good chance at shooting up the rankings, as well. He's been stellar since the calendar flipped to 2015, and he showed well in his cameo in Buffalo.

In other developments, we're starting to get a bit thin, organizationally, at defense. I wonder if Timmy tries to get a top-flight college UFA at that position and/or starts using some draft picks to start bolstering depth at that position.

As expected, right? 18 picks in the first three rounds since 2011, 14 forwards. I wouldn't have a problem if they go pretty D-heavy in this draft, overall.

I'm also not particularly optimistic about getting a top-flight UFA in the offseason, fwiw.

I'm surprised Bailey wasn't on list to begin with .. I see him ahead of the likes of Compher, Larsson, Carrier, Possler, Hurley, Cornel, Krak, Kea ect ect

Edit: Oops. Was looking at wrong list. But still.. I see him ahead of Compher, Larsson, Ullmark, Carrier

FYI, I used the 10 highest remaining players from the summer ranking. I wouldn't be surprised if Bailey ranks above all those guys you listed, but he obviously hadn't make that big jump yet.

Reinhart, add Bailey

If this isn't 100% for Samson.......there's gonna be some 'splainin' needed.........

I thought Zadorov would get at least some support. I don't think we've ever had a unanimous poll?

with 3 guys likely to graduate in the next 4 weeks.... should we wait?

or just assume they graduated and take them off the poll?
(zad, grigo, larsson)

Eh, I was getting antsy. :D

18 games left, Grigorenko needs 10 to get to 65 total, 14 for Zadorov, 15 for Larsson. It's not out of the realm of possibility that one or all of them could end up just missing the cutoff. Besides, Pysyk was two games short last summer and there was whining about including him and now he's graduated while basically being a full-time AHLer. It is what it is, follow your heart.

I'll make the condorcet poll thread soon. I want to come up with my list before starting the thread. Maybe tonight.

Reinhart (obviously). Without looking over the list much I assume everyone is right in Bailey being the next guy.

Not a believer in Ullmark? I say this considering the group of prospects hes grouped in with.

I dont think hes far behind Peterson, if he is at all. Ullmark is on a very bad team, tough for him to replicate the numbers he had last year which were also posted on a bad team.

Im not a believer in goalies in general. projecting them is fairly pointless.

When I posted my rankings last year (along with the components), I didn't even include goalies.

Projecting goalies isn't pointless, the problem is only a few people are actually consistently good at it.
