I say all sports honestly. If you guys have twitter a great guy I follow @bambino_bets he gives a single play and he’s going to start his hockey next week he said. Called the niners over the rams two weeks ago helped me with a nice 3 game parlay.

I agree. Frankly, hockey is one of my least favorite sports to bet on. I did well on the WS game last night though, I had both Cole > 1.5 & Nats >2.5. My favorite betting sport is football. I also love horse racing too, but I ONLY bet on the 3 triple crown races, because horse racing is just such a money pit; I only do the 3 big races because it's fun & I love the triple crown.

Yeah hockey is really hard bet on the money line doesn’t pay and you’d have to be really confident to give goals.

I’m new into this whole thing since it got legal and easy baseball was fun this summer I followed a few guys on twitter. Learning though now with any sport if you are watching a game you get a feel for how it’s going. I took the nats money line because they had a promo running they were +150! Then going into the 6th tied they were +175 I put even more on them. (Nothing huge I’m not rich).

Good bet with football if your absolutely convinced a team is winning like the pats last week try and guess a guy that’s going to score a td and team to win it will always give you + odds

I don’t bet, but it’s somewhat on topic. Joe Beningo betting on the Jets and being confident about it was hilarious to me.
A lot of people were taking the jets and 10pts. Noway Jose that was never happening.

game 3 World Series take the nats and the over

I actually did bet on that game when the line was New England -9.5. I was so confident the Pats would win that I sold some points to get the line to -13.5 so that I would have a + line. Worked-out well for me.

Haven’t been placing much action recently but I took the Preds at home -1.5 vs. Stalock and the Wild. Pays +145. Hopefully the Preds offense keeps rolling

Ever since it's been legalized in NJ, there is an insane amount of people I know that are in it. My buddy's Dad who literally just moved from a flip phone to an iPhone is all about it now lol.

I'm the farthest thing from a betting guy, but the whole thing has my interest piqued. Too chicken to do actually bet though.

The other thing I like that I'd never seen before is how MGM treats its' sports bets like the options market.

For instance, I had a $10 parlay that would pay out $50 if I hit it the other day, and I was only 1 pick away from it hitting. So MGM offered me $23.50 to "buy back" my bet before that game started. I think that's innovative & fantastic, and is another way to monetize your bet while taking off risk.

They do the same thing with individual games. Say you bet $20 on a football team to win, and it will pay out $38. Your team is up a TD at halftime, and they may offer you something like $29 to end your bet.

I think pretty much all the books now offer the 'cash out' feature on bets. I've used it a few times already and there's been a few other times where I wish I would have...

you should dip your toe into it the "rewards" they offer for first time signup and bets are pretty solid so do a hundred at first to maximize your bonus then after that just do small $2/5/10 bets

i'm really only familiar with draft kings sports book mainly because that was the first one i used and i just stayed with them. they run good promos/odd's boosts

fanduel sports book they run some free promo's for football like the million dollar question game. you have to answer 20 football questions correct and wager money on each guess if you get 20 right you keep whats left.

pointsbet will likely give you the best odds vs spread and o/u (usually a 5% vig vs standard 10%). They also have a lot of different betting options.

I personally hate them because they aggressively capped the hell out of me, but for a casual player, it makes sense. Sugarhouse has a pretty terrible interface, but they are one of the more fair books in my experience (in terms of not capping winning players/sharps too aggressively).

I just use MGM. They're an industry monster and a 100% legit publicly traded company, not some offshore book based in Antigua or some nonsense like that, so you'll never have to worry about your money (and the website) disappearing one day. The interface is pretty nice, and their lines seem normal/fair.

I think for the most part since it’s all legal now they are all good. Can’t go wrong with any of the mainstream ones.

hit the Vikings and under tonight and watching the game flow went for the under again at halftime. I try to just bet small and win small then try for a home run bet with the winnings.

ducks under 2.5 goals hit also. These are all favorites so not like making a huge killing with the bets but every little bit is nice

I had a good night too, won on 3/4 bets.

Preds -1.5, Preds -2.5, and Redskins +14.5 all won. I lost on Redskins >12.5, but I was a bit unlucky on that one given Case Keenum got injured early.

What were the odds on Preds -2.5?

Debating taking Isles -1.5 over Sens and maybe Sabres -1.5 over Wings but I don’t like the fact that they’re both on a B2B on the road vs. a rested opponent
