I would probably prefer a Sonic Mania 2 but this looks like the next best thing. Looks a lot better than previous 2.5D Sonic games that I've played (Sonic 4, the 2D sections of Sonic Generations). 60 USD at launch seems like a lot for this game though.

aggressive pricing, but sort of expected for an iconic character coming in-house from a major publisher. Similar to how any 2.5d Mario game are gonna indefinitely be full price on Switch. Hopefully this lands, and if it does, count me as one of the day one customers.
