So why do you think Subban is, once again, trying to be traded?

If they're trading him it's only because of his salary, they've got Josi, Ellis and Ekholm still relatively young and solid making subban more of a luxury. He's got a high price tag but he's also got high value right now given his play and a bunch of teams looking for a puck moving offensive dman, trading him would would bring a big haul back without hurting their competitiveness right now.

Except there's no truth to Nashville shopping him and they won't regardless of what the media says. Subban logs the most ice time on the team. Josi, Ekholm, Or Ellis will get traded before him.

Plus Nashville didn’t opt to accept the ntc clause in his contract when they acquired him m before it activated. Thus they are free to entertain any deals should hey feel like it.
