So I just bought some new blades

Its been a while since I skated but I went and picked up some nice Bauer Vapor LE's that were on for 60 bucks off.. anyways.. I figured there would be a brake or something inside the box.. nope.

Is that the way they are suppose to be? I know they are hockey inline skates but in the instruction manual it states there are brakes.. Am I just suppose to do hockey style stops or what.. Kinda confused to say the least :p

Yeah I'd say most hockey style blades don't come with stoppers now. And unless your playing on a roller hockey surface with the right wheels its kinda hard to do a hockey stop. I find myself just dragging a foot or doing a quick turn to stop.
