No, he's tied with Giroux.

Good for Wennberg, even tho this was partly of the huge blowout which is probably not going to happen in a few decades.

His defensive game and his ability to read the game /play are what separates him from others IMO. Watching him develop these past 3 seasons have been a treat. You could see glimpses of a star but then he'd make a rookie mistake. And then the following year he doubled his points and erased the +/- concern everyone had. It's too early to say he's going to be the next backstrom, but this could be the season where people have to start talking about him.

51 pts in his last 63 games. A step has been taken, does he have another?

I personally love watching him play because of his expansive vision. That's one part of why the Jackets top PP unit has been so good, he and Werenski have all options open.

The good thing for Wennberg is that Columbus is not pressuring him to carry the team - they are not made up of stars - & most of the pressure is from the goal out. He lost some teeth last night and picked them up/ put them on the bench and won the face off.

Much respect to Alex..

Tied with Kane and McDavid with 12 assists after creating the opportunity for Werenski to get the game winner tonight.

Anyone watching this kid over the last 60-70 games knows this kid is not a fluke. He is a playmaking machine. The way he can control the play is unreal. He seems to get better every time he touches the ice.

Yo, was praying that he'll fall to the Sens in 2013 but we ended up with a bust in Lazar.

Back in 2012, I predicted that St. Louis would draft him 20th overall, and when the Flames got the Blues 1st rounder holy s*** did I want to get him. Too bad Columbus picked him up. Still never got why Flames didn't go for Theodore, Dano, or Shinkaruk.

A lot of negative comments about his achievement here, he is a good player who is close to ppg over the last 70 games. Not flashy nor a good ole Canadian boy, but he deserves some credit!
