I hope the trade price for Skinner is higher for the Pens than for any other team. (After turning down our better offer for Gru, the Caps can just lose our # entirely.)

1.) No point helping the best team in the division get better.

2.) No desire to face Skinner several times a season for the next 5-8 years.

3.) They're the Pens.

4.) Jimmy Rutherford.

What Ive assumed would work would be Sheary/Rust + Jarry/Desmith + prospect/mid pick

Apparently Carolina said this:

1st + “?”

Pick in range of

1-10 (don’t really need an add on)
10-20 (1st + A/B prospect)
20-31 (1st + Blue Chip prospect)

So my guess is

2019 Pit 1st + Sprong + “?”

I don’t think I’ve seen Sprong as a top 50 prospect in the NHL, but I could be wrong.
