Assuming twelve possible points (if they were to go 6-0), how many points are realistic?

I think five points is very doable. Anything more would be exceptional, however, especially with a 3A and 3B goalie tandem.

I don't even know anymore.

I've been wrong on almost every prediction I've made with this team. I feel like they beat one of the New Yorks and Montreal and maybe pick up a loser point somewhere else.

Which means they'll go 6-0.

Given this schedule it just depends how good Lagace is, he should start 3 games.

Ouch. Halfway through the road trip and zero points.

This leg of the season has been rough. Dansk is out. And Lagace is not ready for prime time, yet.

Trying to stay positive:
Theodore has been called up, although he is off to a slow start.
Although VGK lost the last three games, with a little better puck luck (and a better goalie performance), things could look very different.
This team is surprising a lot of folks with their speed, however.

So, I was hoping for five points during this trip. Realistically, I now think the best we can hope for is three.

Plus, MAF should be back with the team soon.

Hopefully they get some rest today. They definitely looked like they were a little worn out yesterday.

I'm still holding out hope, it would be very Knights-ish (at least so far) to lose to the New Yorks and Boston, only to sweep through Canada with three wins.

I think VGK match up as well as can be hoped with the Habs and maybe the Sens,

I see ugliness, however, when they face the Leafs ... unless Lagace grows an extra arm or something:

Well, that's two points (with two games left): 1-3-0.

Monday might be a bloodbath against the Leafs, however. Lagace better rest well.

I haven't commented on this thread until this point because I had no idea what way it would go, it being the team's first extended road trip and to the eastern time zone and different conference and especially given the goalie situation!

It's nice to see they have been competitive in every game of the trip and each game has come down to 3rd period play being the decider. Hence, it's been a successful road trip so far.
