No fan base can feel any more amount of pain than being mocked as perennial chokers every year and then go and make the worst kind of history possible to a major rival who had left us as the only team of 3 in the state without a cup (And said team would then later that year go on to win their 2nd championship in 3 years...)
Simply put, the Sharks have kind of ran out of ways to choke away games at any given moment or time they are on the ice. They've also ran out of ways to torture their fans with inevitable disappointment and it's an old hat at this point. /meh.jpg
Funny how the SF Giants have used "torture" as a motto for their runs when the real torture happens down in the south bay.
