Pierre McGuire was raving about him during the draft this year.

i saw that, and i'm not surprised. McGuire loves Phaneuf, and Weber plays a very similar style. Both draw comparisons to Scott Stevens. Weber added 15 pounds of muscle this year, and will have another year in Kelowna(barring an amazing training camp that sees him make the preds) to get even better\stronger. He wowed a lot of people at rookie camp, this year...and the Preds' strength\\conditioning coach said that the coaching staff was "very impressed" with his lifting tests.
