He is incredible in the offensive zone and then his brain completely shuts off when he goes back over his own blue line.
He is a TERRIBLE defender. If this keeps up they should move him to wing then put him on the point for PP

His offense would most certainly totally dry up playing a new unfamiliar position where everything is totally different including what he can see on the ice. And he would probably still be a defensive liability as a forward

It’s like suggesting you put a defensive forward who can’t score for shit on defense.

That’s the conundrum with offensive dmen like him. They can create offense from the backend but they will give up a lot defensively.

I see what you are saying. But it’s much easier to experiment with a D man on the wing than vice versa.
