GDT: Sharks vs Giants: Sunday Night Football

Season series: The New York Giants have never played against the San Jose Sharks since they play different sports and that'd make no sense.

Sharks team scope: Goalie Martin Jones is expected to start against the Rangers. He is 4-0-0, has allowed two goals on 110 shots, and set a San Jose record for longest shutout streak (234:33). Jones last played Friday, when he made 30 saves in a 2-1 shootout win against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center. With backup goalie Alex Stalock getting the start, the Sharks had their four-game winning streak to start the season ended by the New York Islanders on Saturday in a 6-3 loss at Barclays center. This the final game of the Sharks' four-game road trip.

Giants team scope: The Giants beat the Bills and that was a bullshit game and they shouldn't have beaten the awesome Buffalo Bills. Yes, I'm still mad.
