Credit to Slocal for the original idea behind this set.

What we decided on for the playoffs is disclaimers/fine print/the asterisk. Every subject has a trait or claim to their name, and some fine print that alters it. With the ultimate slogan showing the playoffs logo and disclaiming that "results may vary". Really it makes more sense once you see the avatars.

and I know someone's going to complain that they're kind of negative. They're not. They're tongue-in-cheek. We've gone overwhelmingly positive before. We've done 'omg we suck and are gonna lose" before. This is neutral ground. Throwing our hands up and saying "whatever happens happens. Who knows how it'll unfold". That's the core message of the "results may vary" motto.

No draft. I wouldn't be able to make a unique avatar for every single poster on such short notice. Just take whatever you want. And if you want to be unique then you're gonna have to pick a lesser light player.

I think we should kill the draft all together. Just seems like unnecessary extra work for you guys. We haven't done one a while and haven't had any problems without it.

Yes, I will be doing bandwagon avatars. It just might take me a day or two because I'm still figuring out exactly how I want to do them (I'm wavering between making the subject of the avatar be the bandwagoner's normal team itself vs making it a player that is tied to both teams (ie a different Torres one for Phoenix/Edmonton fans, or Kiprusoff for Flames fans, Whitney for Dallas fans, etc)
