How is thornton not on this list? He takes 3 shots in 18 games in the playoffs. Nobody ever expects him to score.

man, this is reminding me of that 2011 run where we won every OT game....except that fluke OT loser against Vancouver.

To me that Dallas game 5 OT winner from Pavs was, at the time, unlikely. That really kicked his career into high gear

Ferriero clearly, it was so unlikely it was actually Brad Stuart who scored it and Ben didnt even play 100 career games

Think about Goodrow is he had had a horrible game. He was -3 in six minutes or something like that. But I've got to go with Rismiller.

What a great video

My favorite moment might be noted Detroit Red Wing Brad Stuart losing his shit and whipping his stick at the glass when the Ferriero shot went in off of him, legitimately hilarious

Randy called Rissmiller scoring before overtime started, the guy was already a scapegoat for a sloppy turnover that led to the Preds tying goal. Didn't really surprise me at the time because I just thought Randy was an oracle.

Ferriero's goal was kinda lucky... deflected off Brad Stuart's stick on a innocuous shot. Funny watching the video again. Rookie Couture already winning battles on the boards, Brad Stuart tomahawking his stick at the glass, Niclas Wallin retrieving the puck.

Gotta go with Goodrow though. Everybody knew he was in DeBoer's doghouse... only played 7 minutes that night, barely any in the 3rd or OT (also wow, Radil clocking in with 2 minutes in a 39 minute game).
After what felt like a few heart attacks because Jones was in net and Timo was busting his ass to no avail, seeing that play with Karlsson develop was so beautiful.
