Proposal: Shane O'Brien?

From a few things I have read, he has fallen out of favor in Colorado. From what limited things I know about him, he is a defensive defenseman. Which I think the wings need. Does anyone know much about him? Would he be an upgrade to anything we have? Would it be worth trading for him? And what do you think it would take to get him, if he IS worth trading for?

Really, it just means we need a defenceman who is good defensively. Unfortunately not all "defensive defencemen" are actually good defensively.

Colorado wouldn't trade with us. Last time we dealt with them we had to go through Tampa to do it. I doubt they'd fall for that again.
