A humorous tidbit

At the Canucks’ final home game last season — the emotional goodbye to Daniel and Henrik Sedin — fans in attendance at Rogers Arena spent an average of $22.33. I’m still not sure I believe it, but someone who would know swears it is true.

(22 and 33 were the players' jersey numbers, for those who don't get it.)


Still, seems a bit low for such a monumental game. No bump in spending due to commemorative pucks or whatever.

$22? Hell, I don't think I can get through a single trip to the concourse without spending that when I go to Canes games. Plus tax, a beer for my wife and I alone puts it over that.
