Are most of the players guys who have full time day jobs? Where do most people growing up in Serbia play hockey? I have some friends from the region and know that basketball and soccer are king.

I wonder if there are any teams in Kosovo. I'm an American of Albanian ancestry and i wonder if there are any other albanian players other than Tie Domi

He just listed all the teams in Serbia, didn't he? That answers your question.

There is a pretty nice website that deals with Serbian hockey.

    http://www.hokej.co.yu

In the forum there is huge list of Serbian players and those with Serbian roots.

Biggest supporter, and one who posts at the forum sometimes is Petar Zezelj (Peter Zezel).

No, I don't think so. Hockey in Serbia is pretty much Belgrade and north of Belgrade.

A buddy of mine (from Canada) just went over to play and coach for Hk Novi Sad. I am not sure if he was with the same team a few years ago but he did play a couple of seasons in the league. He really enjoyed the area and the hockey. Hence the reason for his return. Sounds like a good league.

Is this forum used much during the season? Doesn't seem to be much going on here. Hopefully things will warm up once games are played. Teams are training & having ice time--any news on how they're going?? :hockey:
