Seems like bad coaching accepting his coasting, non-existent back check, unwillingness to play thru contact. He demonstrated any ability & willingness to play a different game last year.

I like Marat. Strong on his skates for an average/smallish sized guy. Remains to be seen if he develops any offense. Doesn't seem to have a lot of skill, but maybe just enough if he can find some open spots with his speed.

I think he might be able to show some skill if wasn't stuck with marjo that just skates around and Freddy also Lost in space. Right now he just seems to be focussing on playing responsibly.
