I dissagree. It's not quite as kiddy as the 3D, but it's makes the 2D crest look kiddy!

I'm genuinely curious if anyone in the organization has ever seen this. In my mind it's near perfect, paying tribute to the original while also taking cues from the modernized one. Best of both worlds indeed.

If I was more of a twitterer I'd be working hard to spread this around.

I've been partial to great1's design ever since first I saw it. Old and new all at once.

But since this is a battle of official logos I'll take the old one.

The only problem with it is that whenu put it on a jersey it becomes really unbalanced and doesnt look quite as good as the original.
In the original thread where great1 posted it hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?t=1100549&highlight=new+ottawa+senators+away+jersey(page 15 on) Jerk Store and somw others did some awesome work.
